Food Safety Audit Checklist

What to Expect When Being Inspected

Don’t you wish there was an easy way to prepare for inspections? Well we have created a checklist to help you! Not only do we take pride in our training services but we strive to offer you the best and most up-to-date continuing education and useful tools.

Food safety audits or self-inspections offer a way to improve the efficiency, as well as, the safety of your operation. Performing food safety audits reduces the number of problems before official inspections. This process leads to higher scores to benefit your business.

Have employees participate in the food safety audit. Your staff will know the violations and have a better understanding of the process by knowing what to expect during regulatory inspections.

Items you’ll need to get started:

  • Thornhill Training’s Food Safety Audit Checklist
  • Thermometer
  • Alcohol Swabs
  • Chemical Test Kit (sanitizing strips)
  • Health Inspection Report to use as a guideline for eliminating problems in your business establishment
